What should I say to my extremely rude and cruel relative?

Just wait until the next time she tries to insult your mother and then stand up for her vehemently. Say, "HEY! Nobody talks to my mother that way, least of all a dirtbag like YOU!" or something else that insinuates she's low class. ;)
