Why does my vagina get hot on the outside and create discharge?

Your body is getting ready for your first period. The vagina is a self cleaning organ. It makes a mucousy substance to keep itself moist. It also keeps the vagina clean. Soon you will have the first discharge of blood - your first period (known as the menarche). A woman's (congratulations) first period is messy, and has a lot of fluids of different color. Your first periods are not regular. You will experience a lot of unpleasant feelings. That is part of growing up.
