Would Mayweather vs Pacquiao end up like Whitaker vs Trinidad?

Whitaker was 35, the same age as Floyd if Floyd fights Pacquiao next year. Whitaker rarely received any punishments as he is often consider the best defensive fighter since Willie Pep. But just like Mayweather he had layoffs. To me it seem like a similar incident with Mayweather vs Pacquiao. Pacquiao is the no.1 p4p and Mayweather is older like Whitaker was vs Trinidad. Trinidad brawls like Pacquiao and Whitaker is a defensive genius like Mayweather. But Trinidad destroyed Whitaker. In all honesty and no bias I do feel Pacquiao will destroy Mayweather brutally just like Trinidad destroyed Whitaker.
