Purchasing a piccolo...?

I think the Yamaha 62 is good for someone of your experience. The best thing would be to find a place where you can play all the instruments you are interested. Then pick the one you like best. Even instruments that are the same brand and model can have some variation, so whenever possible, test play before you buy.
