Can Pep and Messi last long enough to take over Real Madrid in the champions league?

They need 6 years to over take RM and Pep will probably leave at the end of next season. Messi will be 29 in 6 years time and probably not nearly as effective as he loses pace and agility. So basically if Barca ever do take Madrid's record it won't be with this generation of players even if they win it every year, which they obviously won't.
